About Sarah Vick, MD, SFHM, FACP
Sarah Vick received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She did her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kentucky and served as a chief resident. She is an associate professor of medicine, hospitalist, and associate program director for the IM residency. Her academic interests include learner assessment, feedback, hospital medicine, and inpatient billing/coding.

Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I chose the University of Kentucky for residency and for my career because of its diverse clinical training opportunities, the genuine family‑like support among coworkers, and the strong academic environment.
What do you like about your program?
I love working as a hospitalist at UK—the range of pathology, the acuity of our patients, and the constant variety make the work both challenging and rewarding. Teaching residents is another highlight for me; helping them grow and supporting their development throughout training is one of the most satisfying parts of my job
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy reading, drinking coffee, being outside, and spending time with my family.
