Biography
Rachel Whitehouse is a strategic administrative leader with extensive experience in hospital administration and healthcare operations. She currently serves as Senior Administrative Operations Coordinator in the College of Medicine Office of Research at the University of Kentucky, where she supports high-level initiatives that advance clinical research and operational excellence.
With a proven background in project management and stakeholder engagement, Rachel has successfully partnered with philanthropy organizations, clinical teams, and institutional leaders to drive collaboration and deliver results. She is recognized for her ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, optimize processes, and contribute to initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and organizational performance.
Rachel is deeply committed to advancing healthcare across the state of Kentucky, with a focused interest in women’s health, fertility sciences, and fetal medicine. She is passionate about leveraging innovation, research, and cross-functional collaboration to create meaningful, lasting impact for patients and communities.
Her diverse professional experience spans maternal services, dental and business operations, sales, leadership, and substance abuse therapy support—providing her with a well-rounded perspective on the healthcare continuum. Prior to her current role, she served in Maternal Services at Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Kentucky, where she supported key programs including Child Life, Safe Kids, and Bereavement Services.
Rachel began her academic career at the University of Kentucky in healthcare communications and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration at Northern Kentucky University. She is known for her strategic mindset, adaptability, and forward-thinking approach, and remains dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in healthcare operations and research.
