Learner Information

Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?

I chose the University of Kentucky because of my great interview experience and the genuinely supportive faculty. The diverse group of residents and the unique didactics program, which incorporates retrieval practice and is repeated every two years, really stood out to me. I also appreciate Lexington’s welcoming environment—it’s known as the “City of Bluegrass,” with a balance of urban life and natural beauty. Coming from farmlands myself, I value green and vibrant cities, and Lexington offers that perfect mix.

What do you like about your program?

I value the supportive and approachable faculty, as well as the kindness of my co-residents. The program offers excellent research opportunities and exposes me to a wide diversity of cases, which makes the training both comprehensive and rewarding.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy jogging, hiking, traveling, cooking, watching sports—especially cricket and soccer—and learning about philosophy.
