Goals for PGY 1 Academic Year: Become the best doctor I can be before I become the best neurologist I can be.

Goals for Residency: Explore the many different aspects and subspecialties of neurology to see which align with my future life goals. Also, I want to learn the most I can from every subspecialty so I can be a well-rounded physician and neurologist. I want to become a fantastic educator to future medical students and residents in neurology.

Career Plans: My current interests are stroke and epilepsy, although I have little exposure to the other subspecialties.

Personal Statement: Dr. Eslinger graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY. He has completed his B.S. in chemistry at the University of Kentucky as well. His clinical and research interests include stroke, epilepsy, and medical education. In his leisure time, he likes to read novels, cook new recipes, take care of his plants, and ride roller coasters.
