Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
As a fourth-year medical student I was fortunate to complete my Otolaryngology sub-internship at UK. Each day I was increasingly encouraged by the positive interactions I had with the residents, attendings, and staff. That month allowed for me to see firsthand the positive culture that has been instilled in this program for years. The residents unanimously had strong work ethics, exhibited selflessness, and were constantly striving to be the best surgeons and teammates they could be. I knew that this program would provide the influence and support for me to become the best otolaryngologist, and person in general, that I could be.
What are your hobbies?
Outside of the hospital you can catch me spending time with my wife and two small children. Our favorite activities as a family right now include going to parks, making music together, cooking, and playing with our dog and cat. We are excited to get the know the beautiful city of Lexington and all of the adventures it holds.
