Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
My wife and I couples matched and were looking for a training place that offered departments/programs of our size that would allow us to be prepared to provide autonomous care after residency. We loved that we could train near our family and could have lots of direct relationships with attendings.
What do you like about your program?
I love the tight-knit community within the residency program and in the hospital as well. I especially appreciate the level of graduated autonomy, clinical complexity, and opportunities to become a better clinician educator.
What are your hobbies?
Tennis, skiing, board games, traveling, watching new TV shows!
