Learner Summary
Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
Kentucky (and UK specifically) is home. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve and learn from the people of my state. Additionally, Lexington is a great city, and I think has everything you need (or at least I need) to enjoy life outside of residency (see below).
What do you like about your program?
The people. From my time spent with the program during medical school and interviews, I knew that UK had a great group of people that I could fit in with immediately. Also the location – having a catchment area that comprises most of the state allows for a great diversity in pathology to be seen.
What are your hobbies?
Golf - Lexington even has a municipal Pete Dye course
Watching movies - new or old, especially at the Kentucky Theatre
Making pizza - Neapolitan style is the best!
