Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
UK was my top choice for several reasons—including the high level of resident autonomy, strong representation of all subspecialties, and unique opportunity for rural and global health experiences. During my acting internship, I witnessed the unwavering support between residents and staff alike, and I immediately felt part of the team. Lexington was the perfect backdrop, offering everything I could want in a city while maintaining that southern charm. Not to mention, the people of Appalachia are some of the sweetest, most grateful patients you’ll have the privilege of caring for.
What are your hobbies?
I love being around my family and friends—whether we’re hiking, trying new restaurants, or tailgating for our favorite sports teams. In my free time, I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, and calligraphy.
