What are your hobbies?
I am very passionate about maintaining a work-life balance! Outside of the medical school, I play on recreational volleyball teams at Marikka's and am a volunteer pole vault coach for Fuzion Athletics. I also enjoy reading and fostering cats through the Lexington Humane Society.
Education
I was first exposed to both research and medicine during my time at Sycamore High School in Cincinnati. Over the summers, I volunteered at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and worked as a Research and Development Intern at Wise Consumer Products Company. I continued expanding on my clinical experiences as an EMT in Putnam County, IN while attending DePauw University. During my undergraduate summers, I completed research at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. My junior year at DePauw, I studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina through the School of International Training and completed a month long internship at Hospital Simplemente Evita. From these various experiences, I developed a passion for both patient care and research!
