Biography
My practice focuses on patients living with inflammatory bowel diseases: Crohn disease and Ulcerative colitis. I am proud to be part of a team that includes gastroenterologists and surgeons with deep expertise in the care of inflammatory bowel disease, advanced practice providers dedicated to the care of IBD, nurses, pharmacists, and dietitians. We are all focused on helping patients achieve remission and live full lives that are not defined by a diagnosis.
Together with Dr. Sylvia Ofei, I founded the IBD Transition Clinic, a clinic designed to help adolescents with inflammatory bowel disease grow into adults who maintain remission and enjoy continuous care.
I am the primary investigator for many of our therapeutic drug trials, offering cutting edge medicine to patients with IBD.
