Daniel B. Moore, MD, obtained his undergraduate degree in biology, summa cum laude, from DePauw University. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and attended the University of Washington for an internship in medicine and residency in ophthalmology in Seattle. Dr. Moore went on to complete a fellowship in glaucoma at Duke University. He has been with the department of ophthalmology faculty at the University of Kentucky since the fall of 2013 and assumed the role of residency program director in August 2016. Dr. Moore is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He recently received the department Best Teacher award for the second time.
