After rotating at the University of Kentucky during my 4th year visiting rotation, it was clear to me that UK was a program that would be able to provide me excellent mentorship and training during my 6 years of residency! The leadership at UK is outstanding and the integration of the mentor model of teaching has allowed for an even greater educational experience for residents. I was impressed by the level of autonomy and confidence demonstrated by the upper level residents and felt assured that continuing my training at UK would prepare me well to lead a successful career in the future!
