Benjamin Stoner, MD

Ben is originally from Aiken, SC and completed his undergraduate degree at Clemson University. He then attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina before moving to Chapel Hill, NC for residency at UNC. He has been interested in the intersection of

heart failure and critical care and while at UK has been able to care for an incredibly sick and complex population. He is planning on continuing his training in advanced heart failure. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two overexcited dogs. He is an avid runner and has completed several marathons including Boston twice. He also uses that running an excuse to go out to eat, watch sports, and try the many breweries and distilleries around Lexington.
