Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
After completing my acting internship, I knew I wanted to complete my training at UK. From day one, everybody in the department was incredibly welcoming, and the strong sense of camaraderie, both within and outside of the hospital, stood out. Along with excellent clinical training, the program offers opportunities that align with my career goals. I hope to work with underserved populations both in the U.S. and globally, and I am confident UK’s commitment to rural and global health will help shape me into the best physician for my patients.
What are your hobbies?
I love spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends! In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, whether it be on a casual neighborhood walk or checking off hikes on my national park bucket list. I also love coffee and enjoy trying new beans, exploring different shops, and experimenting with brewing methods.
