Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I chose the University of Kentucky for my residency because, having grown up in Lexington and gone to medical school UK, this program felt like home. I saw the excellent clinical and surgical education residents receive here, as well as the collegial learning environment that is created for the residents.
What do you like about your program?
I love that this program is dedicated to integrating early operative experience for its residents; while we are busy, there is no better preparation for eventual practice. Lexington is also a great city to be a resident! it is safe, cost of living is low, but still maintains a lively atmosphere downtown with plenty to enjoy.
What are your hobbies?
I love to go for runs around the university, play a round of golf, or enjoy a quiet night at home playing some guitar or piano.
