Amanda Castro, BSN, RN

Child Neurology Amanda Moore, a Certified Pediatric Nurse, has 7 years’ experience with Kentucky Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Department. She attended the University of Kentucky where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minor in Spanish. Amanda has been involved in several mission/service trips to Haiti, Ecuador, and Honduras. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, dancing, reading, sports, and going to church. As the Pediatric Neurology Nurse Coordinator, she assists patients and their families through diagnosis, ongoing treatment, hospital stays, diagnostic testing, and the many aspects associated with child neurology. Amanda has a passion for serving others and loves helping patients and their families through the intricacies of medical care. She wants those in her care to feel comfortable and have a clear understanding of their treatment and recovery.
