Alissa Karr

Alissa is originally from Columbus, IN, but she called Indianapolis home for 10 years before joining the UK HealthCare pharmacy team in 2014. Alissa joined the Gynecologic Oncology team as a Clinical Pharmacist in 2015.

She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Auburn University in 2003. This was followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Indiana University in 2005. Alissa then worked as a medical technologist in the Stem Cell Transplant Lab at Indiana University Health for three years before attending Purdue University where she completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012. She then completed PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residencies at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN.

Alissa enjoys reading, traveling, running, and spending time with family and friends.
