Physiology Research Day 2025 was held Tuesday, Nov. 4, in the Gatton Student Center Harris Ballroom.
The event showcased work from the labs of Drs. Macauley, Fry, Patel, Johnson, Delisle, and Bieberich.
Ilhem Messaoudi-Powers, PhD, UK's Vice President for Research, discussed the current state of research at the University and beyond, as well as a positive message for the continued value of research in the future.
Abby Burrows-Franco, PhD, and Nicolas Grillet, PhD, shared some of their new techniques and equipment.
Mina Lin, Juliano Blanco, Colton Lysaker, Abbey Dragich, and Payton Nies were just a few of the poster presentation winners.
Cheavar Blair, PhD, Diego Lucero, PhD, and Xu Xiao, PhD, showed off their creativity with painted lab coats and a rousing game of "Physioctionary" (Physiology Pictionary).
