Last week, across our campuses, we welcomed 207 new medical students to the UK College of Medicine Class of 2028!

Incoming students and their families celebrated in Bowling Green on Thursday afternoon, with white coat ceremonies taking place in Lexington and Northern Kentucky on Friday. We welcomed 30 new students to our Bowling Green Campus, 35 students to our Northern Kentucky Campus, and 142 students to our Lexington Campus, 12 of whom will complete their first two years of training in Lexington and their final two years in Morehead, Ky. at our Rural Physician Leadership Program (RPLP).

“White coat ceremonies are among my favorite celebrations of the year because they remind us of our ‘why,’” said Dean Griffith. “It is an honor to welcome the Class of 2028 across all of our campuses. I’m excited for them as they embark on a rewarding career and learn from our exemplary faculty who care for Kentuckians.”
