UK College of Medicine Pathology and Laboratory Medicine would like to welcome our newest faculty member.
Aaron D. Shmookler, MD
Dr. Shmookler graduated from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2011. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at The Ohio State University in 2016, and went on to complete a Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine fellowship at OSU in 2017. He joins our department after several years at West Virginia University. Dr. Shmookler’s spouse (Dr. Ruta Arays) is also a new faculty member at UK in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology. Please be sure to say hello and introduce yourself to Dr. Shmookler and welcome him to both UK Pathology and UK HealthCare!
