KY ACC 2019

Oct 12, 2019 - Kentucky Chapter of American College of Cardiology held its annual meeting in the Lexington Convention Center this year. This was well attended by UK faculty and fellows. The fellows had the opportunity to interact with fellows from University of Louisville, and Bowling Green. They were able to present their research, getting advice from recent grads, and compete in the annual KY ACC Jeopardy.

Gathering of former and current UK fellows

University of Kentucky fellows competed against University of Louisville and Bowling Green cardiology fellows in the KY ACC Jeopardy. The event was hosted by Dr. Michael Brook (UCSF). Winner (U of L) get to compete at the national ACC Battle of the FIT Jeopardy.

Recent grads Drs. Syed Bokhari, Tim Raymond, Arash Seratnahaei (CV/ACI 2016), Michael Faulkner (CV 2013, ICC 2015) Vedant Gupta (CV 2016, ACI 2017) spoke during the FIT lunch with current trainees about their experience as an early career cardiologist.
