2019 Fellowship Graduation

June 7, 2019 - This year, we celebrated the graduation of 6 general cardiology fellows, 2 advanced imaging fellows, 2 interventional fellows, and an advanced heart failure fellow. We were fortunate to celebrate with family and friends together at the Hillary Boone Center.

Dr. Mikel Smith gave us all a history lesson about the Michael Spain Award and Borys Surawicz Award.

Terry Oplas, RN won the Michael Spain Award chosen by the fellows for staff.

The Borys Surawicz Award was given to Dr. Vedant Gupta (CV 2016, ACI 2017).  The award is a fellow chosen award for the outstanding faculty of the year.

Dr. Gregory Sinner (CV 2020) won the Teresa Hignite Award. This award is chosen by fellows and faculty to a fellow each year.
