After this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify indications for dialysis and the basic principles of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
• Describe common complications in dialysis patients, including volume management, electrolyte disorders, anemia, mineral and bone disease, and vascular access concerns.
• Explain strategies for preventive care, medication management, nutritional support, and interdisciplinary coordination in dialysis patients.
