The division of cardiovascular medicine is pleased to invite you to the 2026 T.F. Whayne Cardiovascular Symposium.
This year focuses on Interventional Cardiology, co-chaired by Adrian Messerli, MD, and Naoki Misumida, MD, FACC, FSCAI.
For decades, interventional cardiology has been the fastest-evolving, most transformative field in medicine. The 2026 symposium will explore that history as leading experts present: Advancements in Cardiovascular Intervention: Diagnosis to Therapy.
Renowned cardiologist Timothy Henry, MD, FACC, MSCAI, chair in clinical research at The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati, will serve as the keynote speaker. Dr. Henry is a true pioneer in the field, particularly known for his expertise in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction.
Bennet George, MD, will join us from Houston, TX. Dr. George is a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist who is dedicated to providing exceptional cardiac care to his patients. With years of experience in the field, he specializes in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases using minimally invasive techniques. His residency in General, Interventional and Structural Cardiology were all done at the University of Kentucky Medical Center & UK Gill Heart & Vascular Institute.
