Biography
Thomas J. Gal is Professor of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Kentucky. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He completed his fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he also obtained a Master's in Public Health (MPH) in Cancer Epidemiology. Dr. Gal obtained additional training in Transoral Robotic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His serves on the Endocrine Cancer Team, Head and Neck Cancer Team, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery as well as several committees with the University of Kentucky.
