Rebeckah Fairchild, MD

Having grown up in Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky for both undergrad and medical school, my interest in Kentucky's health has not changed. I've seen firsthand how vital UK Healthcare is to the entire state and am excited to be apart of this tradition. Because I attended UK I saw first hand the camaraderie and tight-knit community our anesthesia residency offers and wanted to be apart of that as well. I’m excited to spend the next phase of my training in Lexington where I can continue to flourish and expand the network I have worked to create the past few years. Further, I know that UK will provide world-class education and continue to set the bar for excellence, making it an ideal program for me to continue to reach my personal and professional goals. On a personal note, I am eager to remain in Lexington as my family still resides in the state. I also love that while it is an urban city and has all the cultural and artistic offerings of a larger metropolitan city, it still is able to maintain that small-town feel.
