Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?

The University of Kentucky is located in such a way that you're able to see all types of patients- rural or suburban, those with acute and chronic concerns, and that exposure is the type of exposure I was hoping for. In addition, many of Kentucky's regional hospitals make connections with the University, allowing a great view into Appalachian healthcare and how to manage patients of all sorts of backgrounds.

What do you like about your program?

Everyone- the residents, the attendings, everyone who puts in their hard work towards the residency- is extraordinarily kind and helpful. A helping hand is only a text or a step away, and it's made the progress from medical school to residency feel seamless. I appreciate immensely that I've never felt stranded during my time so far.

What are your hobbies?

Reading, writing, spending too much time learning how to cook
