Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I chose UK foremost because I wanted to train at a large academic institution that contains a strong curriculum with robust exposure to every anesthesia subdiscipline. The residents also spoke highly of faculty mentorship, responsiveness to concerns, and support in their professional pursuits. Furthermore, Lexington is a beautiful and peaceful city where the people are friendly, and there is a strong sense of community.
