Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify recent changes in the medical management of common neurological conditions as a mechanism to improve patient care quality, outcomes, and safety.
• State foundational neuroscience building blocks and translate new-found knowledge to practical application in a clinical care setting.
• Recognize and identify indications for referral for specialist consultation.
• Provide information to patients and families regarding expectations for referral for advanced management of complex neurological conditions.
