The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is delighted to welcome Tait Shanafelt, MD, to deliver the inaugural well-being lectureship address. Dr. Shanafelt is a world-renowned leader on clinician well-being and its implications for quality of care. At Stanford Medicine, Dr. Shanafelt serves as the chief wellness officer and director of the WellMD and WellPhD Center.
Dr. Shanafelt is a hematologist/oncologist, associate dean, and Jeanie and Stewart Richie Professor of Medicine at Stanford. As a global thought leader and researcher in the field of clinician well-being, Dr. Shanafelt has helped hundreds of organizations and their leaders work to improve burnout and promote professional fulfillment.
