The rotation schedule for plastic surgery residents is an integrated program built around a traditional surgery mentorship model.  As residents advance in the program, an increasing portion of their time will be spent in plastic surgery.

During plastic surgery rotations, each resident will be assigned to an attending surgeon. Residents will be responsible for covering the attending's clinics and operating rooms. Chief residents will determine the distribution of extra residents to fill the needs of patients and the service.

There are opportunities for elective months, research, and aesthetic surgery with community plastic surgeons. See example.
