Two six-year categorical plastic surgery positions are filled each year. Our program follows the guidelines established by the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons (ACAPS) and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
Application Process
Applications for 2023-2024 will be accepted through Plastic Surgery Common Application (PSCA) and/or Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for integrated residency positions.

Your application should include the following:
- Electronic application
- USMLE scores, Part I (and Part II if available)
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcript
- Documentation of AOA membership (if applicable)
- up to four letters of recommendation (PSCA)
- Dean’s letter
- Curriculum vitae
ACAPS - Integrated Interview Invitation Policy Update for 2023-2024
ACAPS has set forth a policy that all integrated plastic surgery programs will coordinate when they announce interview dates and distribute interview invitations. The purpose of this is to improve the efficiency of scheduling for applicants and programs. Advanced planning is intended to help applicants better plan for travel and to minimize cancellation and rescheduling of interviews.

All applications must be received by: Sept. 16, 2023 (PSCA and ERAS).
Only complete applications will be considered. UK Plastic Surgery, in cooperation with the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons (ACAPS), has adopted a new policy with regard to interview dates.

Virtual Zoom Interview Dates for 2023 - 2024

The interview day will run between 7am-1pm approximately. The residents sponsor a virtual meet and greet the evening prior to the interview day.
