Julia Stevens received her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.  She also completed fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
