Additional Event Information

As many of you are aware, the issues of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct in the workplace have dominated the headlines in recent years, and the biomedical sciences, indeed UK’s College of Medicine, are not immune. Ensuring that the College’s faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students are informed about how to support and protect themselves and their colleagues is a very high priority for Dean DiPaola. As a result, he has required that ALL employees be trained on these matters by UK’s Office of Institutional Equity and Equal Opportunity.
