Biography
Siddharth Kapoor received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. He completed a neurology residency at New York University School of Medicine and a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. Dr. Kapoor specializes in care for adults with epilepsy with a special focus on the elderly; diagnosis of seizures and non-epileptic “spells,” especially challenging migraines; planning for epilepsy surgery in potential candidates when medications fail; vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) and the emerging role of Deep Brain Stimulation and responsive neurostimulation; and caring for women with epilepsy during their reproductive years.
