This program is specialized for family caregivers and will offer information about Alzheimer’s disease and caregiving, and will also provide an opportunity to reflect, regenerate, and gain a new perspective on your caregiving issues. Local and statewide experts who specialize in aging and Alzheimer’s care will present topics that are valuable to family caregivers of persons with dementia. This training is designed specifically for family caregivers and is therefore only open to those who are family caregivers. There is a limited amount of grant money to cover the cost of respite care while a caregiver attends the training.
